Peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre, at the age of 85. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his wife of 28 years, Helene (Dumas). Dear father of Bruce (Kathleen Dugas) and Kathleen (Michel Landry). Cherished grandfather of Charles and Chandra Lee Landry, Meghan and KaitlynLowe. He is also survived by brothers Rae (Enid), Don (Barbara) and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his sisters Dorothy Olive Dunse (February 2012) and Margaret Fern Dimmick (November 2010) of North Battleford, SK. The family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. Ed Fitzgibbons (Palliative Pain Management Ottawa General Campus), nurse Wendy and all the wonderful palliative nursing staff of the General Campus. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Thursday, August 16 from 7-9pm and Friday, August 17 from 10-11:30am. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre or the SCO Foundation (Elisabeth Bruyere).
